High Voltage Power Solutions, Inc. (HVPSI), previously known as High Voltage Power Systems Inc and also the Electronic Products Division of Collmer Semiconductor, Inc., has been a leading manufacturer of high voltage and power related products for over 20 years. Our growth during that time has led us from a company providing a limited number of products to a few customers, to a multitude of products serving customers worldwide.

In 2005 HVPSI became part of the Dean Technology Inc family which is the parent company of HV Components (Farmingdale, NJ), CKE (Lucernemines, PA), and Anshan Sun Locus HV Components Corp Ltd (Liaoning, PR China). This gives HVPSI more resources and capabilities then ever before with our total staff of now more than 250 employees worldwide. The Dean Technology divisions manufacture components such as high voltage diodes, high voltage capacitors, custom diode assemblies, MOV’s, silicon carbide varistors and selenium suppressors. This gives greater resources to components for the design and manufacturing of custom high voltage power supplies than any other manufacturer today.

Although we have a new company name, we retain the same skilled personnel who have made our company the success that it is today. Under the new ownership and direction of Craig Dean and operating out of a 22,500 square foot facility in Carrolton TX, HVPSI combines the skills of engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance and reliability, materials management, information technology, marketing, and sales to produce a highly effective team of talented and committed personnel.

HVPSI's main products are custom high voltage power supplies including AC or DC inputs and DC outputs over 100kV. Our expanded product line includes DC output high voltage power supplies, high voltage rectifier assemblies, high voltage multipliers, DC-DC converters, high voltage diodes, HV igniters for various types of lasers, surge suppressors, and secondary surge lightning arresters. Our products meet the stringent requirements of UL and CSA and these certifications are available for new products when required. The offerings of HVPSI have been greatly expanded by the products in our other divisions with more high voltage diodes than ever, high voltage capacitors, MOV’s, and Silicon Carbide and Selenium Suppressors. HVPSI's technical expertise in high voltage products also includes vacuum impregnated, custom epoxy encapsulation. This critical process provides maximum circuit protection against vibration, salt spray, and chemical contaminants that can be problematic in harsh, ambient environments. HVPSI designs and develops self-contained, encapsulated circuit modules which provide practical solutions to meet our customers' toughest requirements.

Applications for HVPSI products include electrostatic discharge (ESD) equipment, electrostatic air cleaners, ionizers, copy machines, oil cleaning equipment, packing and packaging machines, CRT displays, airport security, medical X-Ray and imaging equipment, electrostatic spraying, photo multiplier tubes, lasers, ion pumps, e-beam welding, ink jet printing, x-ray, radar, manufacturing inspection x-ray, and TWT amplifiers.
